Our Trout Scout Rods are designed using our own proprietary tapers and range in line weight from 3 to 8, 1 to 4 sections, 5'6" to 9'0" length with hexagonal (6 strip) construction. This series of rods has a very smooth powerful medium action.

Our Signature Rods are also designed using our own proprietary tapers and include exotic burl wood reel inserts, distinctive signature wraps, traditional red agate stripper guide, blued ferrules with ferrule plugs with pentagonal (5 strip) construction. This pentagonal construction provides an inherently stiffer/faster action than that of a comparable hexagonal rod. The two tip models are desgined with two matching tips (i.e. the node stagger will match).

Our Custom/Classic Rods are precise designs of some of the finest classic rods ever made. You can choose from rod tapers from any of the famous makers such as Garrison, Leonard, Payne, Young, Powell, Dickerson, Thomas etc. And using our own Rod Design and Analysis Software (http://www.RodDNA.com), we can make them in virtually any line weight, length, and any number of sections while preserving the original rods feel and action!

You can completely customize your rod. You start by choosing a contemporary or classic rod taper from our rod database of over 600 rod tapers, then choose the style and size of the grip, the color of the wraps and tipping, the color of the bamboo (blond medium or dark brown), specify a swelled butt, lighten the rod via flueting, select blued or bright NS ferrules, select the type of reel seat and select from exotic burl wood inserts, etc.
